MOME DIPLOMA 2020 VISUAL IDENTITY CONCEPT
This year I've got the chance to take part in this competition to make my visual concept. 2020 is a special year of the life of MOME because of the jubily of 140 years and also the first year on the brand new campus. This was a complex challenge for me, I have to combine different techniques and workflow.
Because of the pandemic the diploma thesis defense and exibitions will be hold via zoom or other video conference application in virtual space, my concept reflect to this situation. The used colours are RGB main colours that are monitor colours and has vibrant and clean intensity. The choosen form elements are the new campus's buildings - as the new era's simbols. I've got inspiration from Daniel Lakos's 3D printed buildings and the uni's unofficial 'mome kékfény' instagram page that means blue light in hungarian and shows failed coordination between notebook and projector screen.
Made a design and colour code for both of the education levels. BACHELOR got RGB blue and MASTER got RGB green. This is important because of the students placing in the website. Easier to make difference and searce for the diploma projects.
