COLOURLESS everything about the LMBTQ
I made this project dedicated to my brother, who told me that he's gay. He said he knew it for a while and he had to accept himself first and then he told to our family. I saw that it was hard for him and I have never feel what he felt all his life before.
This work was a special one. I learned a lot about the whole LMBTQ movement. Realised that most of the people don't know enough about it, and than they can't accept this. The projects goal was to make and easily understandable book about the topic with expressive design. Only contains magenta and black and white pictures and text and the balance between the contents depends on the importance of them.
The books' structure is similar to the users interest level and goes with more and more knowledge. The first topic is the LMBTQ's hungarian history. These events are important to understand the movements participants thoughts about the people. There was a lot of fights and unacceptance between them. ANd than there was events that made possible to the LMBTQ community to express themselves. I use a lot of negative marker that reflect to the audiance reactions. These words are so drastically under educated that makes no sense.
The second large part is the LMBTQ community's colourful expressions explanations. There's a lot of words that we use and in everyday life but we have no idea what they are mean. These are important to understand each other much better.
